We invite everyone to join our AGM! However, only current financial members can speak and vote on agenda items, with one vote per family membership. If you’re unsure about your membership status, please reach out to our office at [email protected] call 03 9555 7595.
With just a few agenda items to cover, we expect the meeting to be brief, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the serene surroundings, explore the sanctuary, and meet our special animals. It’s also a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and fellow HFV members and families. Feel free to bring your own picnic or purchase lunch from our cafes. Please note that bookings are essential.
One key item on the agenda is the election of the next Committee of Management. We have eleven Ordinary Committee Member positions to fill, and we’re eager to welcome new members. The committee plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction and management of the organization. Typically, there are 6-8 meetings each year, held on weekday evenings, usually online—making it a manageable commitment for most.
